The Youth of MCO

This has been a neat project.  Over the past couple of months I've traveled a couple of times to Arizona to film the youth of the Mormon Choral Organization (MCO).  In November I went down to Parker, AZ and spent a few days filming the choirs annual youth retreat.  This was a neat opportunity for me and the kids because the retreat involves the choirs from both East Vally in AZ and Orange County, CA.  I was reminded again on this trip how incredibly amazing the youth of today can be.  The trip had an impact on me and prompted me to change a few things in my life that needed changing.  Then in December I flew down to Mesa and filmed the organizations Christmas Concert at the Mesa Arts Center.  During that trip I had the opportunity to interact with folks of all ages, from four-year-olds to folks in their very late years.  Filming there was fabulous.  Overall these experiences have reminded me of the wonderful effect music can have on us and how good people change us.  All in all this has been a marvelous experience.
